You can't go live without a verified credential. Pick a venue, do the connect-and-verify dance, and you're ready.
Recommended first venue
- Binance Futures testnet - easiest to set up, most-tested
adapter, fastest fills. Generate testnet keys at
https://testnet.binancefuture.com.
Steps
- Go to Exchanges in the sidebar.
- Click Add credential.
- Pick Binance Futures and Demo (testnet).
- Paste API key and secret. Submit.
- Verify step runs automatically. Look for the green Verified badge.
What can go wrong
- Wrong environment: testnet key in a live slot or vice versa.
- Permissions: trading must be enabled on the key.
- IP whitelist: disable IP restriction for now, or contact us for the current IP list.
What you do NOT need
- Withdrawal permission.
- 2FA codes (we never ask).
- Master account keys (use a sub-account key when possible).
